I have realized in my late years
Some things change along the way
It’s hard to make some this I know
If we don’t believe in what they say

The LORD was here as our country grew
From HIM some want to depart
Let this country show once again
Our LORD was here from the start

They want to take our LORD from us
In prayer, and our government too
This country was made

Remembering all the people
That died to make our country free
